Arthurian legend

I'm really hyper right now. I took a four hour nap earlier since I knew I would be pulling an all-nighter. Plus, I had some delicious Mountain Dew: White Out. Now, I feel like I've taken a mild form of Ritalin and I feel like bouncing off the walls.

That being said, the reason I'm pulling an all-nighter is because of this image:
I'm drawing a book cover for my Arthurian Legends class based off of The Mists of Avalon and Le Morte d'Arthur. I wanted to do something based off of Duality since Morgan in Mists is not a temptress like in d'Arthur. I mean, she kind of is, but she has good reason to do it. D'Arthur's Morgan just wants to get revenge on Arthur for whatever reason and Mists's Morgan wants to take the throne and rule for Avalon since Arthur refuses to do it and is betraying the oath he made to the Lady of the Lake by ruling as a Christian king and ignoring and even allowing other people to persecute the Druids.

The Mists of Avalon is a good book. You should read it, especially if you want another take on Arthurian legends and another view point (it's from the female point of view and as such, it's slightly feminist). After reading this, it made me change my mind about ever wanting to live in the Middle Ages since as a woman, I'd be treated like shit, especially by the church. Wouldn't mind being a Druid though, if how they are portrayed is accurate.

tl;dr: I'm hyper.

Circus

These are the sketches I'll be submitting tomorrow for class. Gotta say, this was the easiest assignment I had for illustration. I'm pro at character design.

Also, really quick, since this is a sketch blog and going to be dealing a lot with concept art, please don't "steal" them. A lot of these come from my own imagination and I've worked hard to make my imagination churn these things out. If you do want to use any concept, at least ask beforehand.

More Circusness

This is an example of what I am going to be doing for this project. Essentially, they're animals doing regular circus things and instead of their normal heads, they have a detachable eyeball that they can interact with, like this bear.

INTRODUCTIONS

Hello. How are you fine folks doin'? Me, I'm doing all right. School is school and etc. Anywho, this is not the point of post. The point is this:

You see these sketches? I hope you now get the point of this blog. I'm pretty much going to be using it as a sketch blog for unfinished things that I still want to share, but not enough want to share to clutter up my deviant art account even further.

As far as the above sketches go, it was for an assignment wherein we had to create characters for a circus. I was hungry and came up with a desert circus.
